for benefit of others i am sharing the solution as i went trhough this process.
as per excise officer the answer is not clear. those officers say that only one process can be done at a time . only after its completion another process can be done. one process means if you have applied for owner transfer then i can only do correction once above is completed.
howver if you are good enough then you can do both at the same time.
just ask the isnpection officer to sign the form F and refer you to somene who does the correctoin there at the correct counter ask the excise guy to put your file in cc phase ( i dont konw what it is ) then it will be transfered to anther guy he will do corre tion after seeing genuine papers and ask for an application and photocopies for same. then return the form F to inspection officer and have it processed by them ..
