Punjab Smart Card Delayed

Finally i can see that the status of my car is now showing on the Punjab car verification page. It is showing that the card printing is now in progress. So i applied for this registration in May, 2022 and it took them 3 months just to show it on the digital database. The registration process is complete and the card printing is in progress. I will still pay them a visit to check if i will receive the file manually or it will be shipped just like the card that gets shipped automatically to my home.

Yes, for a new car registration which is being registered for the first time they take that from you. Otherwise, its usually the TO form along with ID cards that has to be submitted for a normal transfer.

I have been checking on and off but it took them more than 1.5 months to simply bring the card printing status up. Abhi print hoga phir dispatch hoga and then i will receive it, if you ask them tou woh yahy kehtay hain keh koi timeline nahi hay kyun keh in keh number plate bananay wala vendor or Smart cards bananay wala vendor aksar bhag jata hay due to non payments and stuff.
Unfortunately jub say token tax pay kia hay ab woh status bhi nazar nahi a raha !

If anybody has received number plates recently, can you please tell how much time did it take?

Yeah card was delivered through Pakistan Post and was returned on its own for some reason but i collected it from Excise office.

Does Pakistan post shows you the status of your package upon entering the vehicle number? i recently got a used car and get it transferred to my name, the Punjab vehicle verification started showing the new owner details as soon as we were done with biometrics, however, the card status was in printing and now its been a month since it changed to dispatch and I have not revived it yet, upon entering the vehicle number in the Pakistan Post portal, I do see a history of the package of No. plates which were delivered to the previous owner. but nothing is there about smart card.

So team finally, i applied for registration back in May, 22 and today i have received my smart card by Pakistan post. I have still not yet received my file though but i took them around 5 months to deliver my smart card so now you know how much time it takes on average these days.

If it has not arrived then you will have to go to the excise office where you applied for registration/transfer.

Hello Guys, I have transferred a car through agent, it's Islamabad number, did the physical verification on 13th Feb, 2023. On the slip, it shows that you can collect card after 10 days, but it's been 15 days and the smart card status on excise Islamabad website is showing IN PROCESS.

Why it's been delayed? Anyone know the reason? I also transferred another car on 1st Feb, 2023 and it's smart card was delivered after 14 days.

What could be the reason for this delay?

My card was sent many times and its gets back each time as it can't get delivered. So i collect it from excise office after 2 months.

I want to confirm that is all original documents submitted to ETO Lahore to get the first time smart card?
I just buy a car owner just give me a file of car which all copies are pasted, when I ask I need original documents he ask all documents are submitted to ETO LAHORE. PLEASE CONFIRM.

Is defaced ki stamp ka kiya matlab hai, Maine ek bike ke documents dekhte hain Usme owner ke cnic, honda ki receipt aur tax ke paper pe defaced ki stamp hai lekin smart card nahi hai aur book pe defaved ki stamp nahi hai to iska kiya matlab hai?

AoA, I applied for smart card in May 2021, its June 2024, status is shown as Dispatched but card not been delivered. I complaint several times and they say card is printed but not present in Delivery section. What does that mean and if I visit there, is there any possibility I will get it on same day as I will be reaching there from another city.
