Hello guys, can someone tell me if there is a date mentioned on the slip of when the card will be issued? I got car transfered on my name through an agent and i told him to opt for a card aswell. He has all the slips so im not sure.

Stamp lagni chaiye thi and if its missing what happens is keh jo banda smart card pakra raha hota hay woh usi time ap ki copy pay defaced ki stamp laga deta hay ! behtar tou yahi hay excise keh office ja kar lagwa lijeyga !

Forget the date .there is backlog of smart cards .it will be issued when it is made .

Yes that is correct but copy tou pehlay hi lay laitay hain :s this is strange that you still have your copy. For smartcard they take your registration book and upon return they deface it there and then.

Yes wapis ja kar un say stamp lagwa lain phir its better to play safe. Vese woh stamp apni security keh liye lagatay hain keh yeh copy kisi or gari keh liye istimal na ho ap ko koi nuqsan nahi hay agar stamp na bhi huwe ho tou, but yes its always best to play by the book and karwa lain tou zada achi baat hay.

Ap keh card pay duplicate likha jaega if you lose your original card. And it is highly likely keh car wash/service keh time pay ya phir mechanic keh pass gari lay janay par woh card ya tou chori ho jae ya misplace ho jae. So better to keep a photocopy of it then to place the original card in your car. Only take that card with you in your wallet when traveling to some other city.

Why are you all worried for card being delayed?
Live tension free life it's government headache.

Keep picture of registration receipt with you, use plastic plate with you enjoy it till it lasts. Good days no one giving challan nor safe city cameras getting your numbers and sending challan at home

I haven't got mine despite registration being applied in September. In my case I can't even follow up because stupid bank is involved.

Applied for transfer of ownership via an agent at the end of august and the vehicle was transferred to my name on 3rd september no problem (as shown via online vehicle verification) but december is here and the agent says he still hasn't gotten hold of the smart card. Any idea if the Smart Card's are still in slow queue or has the delay been dealt with already?

P.S me the buyer and the seller both reside in rawalpindi so it would've been hard for us to both take out time to get it done ourselves by going to lahore.

I recently bought a Lahore Registered car through a showroom in Islamabad. They used an agent to get it transferred. Now Car is transferred on my name as I can see on MTMIS & I got my file back also but didn't get the old Book back. I know they are giving smart cards now but still someone told me that they return old registration book back with file. Can anyone please confirm that? That agent & showroom guy are saying that they dont return it anymore & another buyer also confirmed that he didn't get it. Thanks in advance.
