Purchase of a used bike ( bike documents )

my mistake!! the lesson for you!!
well recently I purchased an open-used bike from Lahore I got the original copy and file but I didn't get the sale purchase letter as he was the second owner who didn't transfer the bike on his name and used it the main thing is its original number plates were misplaced and I didn't get them from the second owner now the thing is I am quite worried and kinda suspicious about that bike what if the bike is being used in some kind of illegal activity!!
I am not using it for now... I have no contact with the original owner but I have 2 photocopies of his id card which I got from 2nd owner

so lesson is never to buy an open-used bike with no number plates or fancy number plates!!
2nd if anyone can suggest me any solution please reply!!

Bhai ics mein preshan honay wali koi baat nahin..kutch log bike ya cars ko apnay naam prr transfer nahin kratay aor aisay he use krtay krtay aagay sale kr detay hain...number plates ho sacta hay first ya second owner kay pass hon...don,t be negative ALLAH ka naam ley kr bike use krain

When buying a vehicle on open letter it is always your own prime duty is to make sure about authenticity of registration and all documents including number plate. It is wise to make a short visit of excise office and check status of vehicle and number plates from there before buying. Generally, you can get this information from mtmis website as well, unless it is some old bike/car and its status is not uploaded there.
