Purchase of Prius 2007

I wanted to purchase prius, but my budget restricts me to go for 2007 model. Couple of my friends advised me not to purchase Prius 2007 model, because its old model and its batteries will be old enough to be replaced. They told that batteries replacement cost about 3.5 lakhs
I just wanted to ask you friends on this forum to guide me.
Should I go for prius 2007, is this good car
if it needs battery replacement, how much does it cost and after replacement does it work fine?
I been told that in local if one is driving at 40-50 km/hr, the car uses battery and its extra ordinary fuel saving, is this true

Dont waste your money...i dont even advice to go on a new model car as the car loses so much money with every month it gets old the money you will sav eon fuel it will take away double than that on the price of the car...plus if any issue arises you will be in pain

batteries approx 60k in pindi / isb, not something to fear of now a days.
have experience of 2009 model, it uses batteries around 90 km/hr speed on light foot and yes, very good mileage ....
like in city and highway mix mode, one full tank is offereing 950 km easily .... depends on driving style, as it matters alot.

assuming your tank is say 42 litres, means you are getting 22 Km/litre, which is amazing. and major LOL at uses batteries upto 90km/hr, what if i make it use battery+engine at 40km/hr, speed has literally nothing to do with it, its the algorithm that kicks in the engine if it finds the exact parameters for it. I bumped into a guy who said 40km tak ye battery per chalti hae and I told him to go to lahore at 40km/hr and he said yes it can.

its a perfectly fine buy, the car is rugged and amazing to drive. just buy it, battery life is near 600,000KM if the cooling circuit is being maintained by book. Infact new / kabli batteries are cheap so no worries in that

brother, check most compalint toyota cars, and you will find 2007 and 2010 the most, where 2007 has the most problems in battery, that is all i can say from the internet informaiton, practically i have some 2007 stuck on road, hood open, driver sitting on pavement,

but not driven , i bought aqua 2015 then,

but safety is to go for minimum 2011 prius version....

i think you will get 2014 model in your budget
if you go on the other side like if you dont want digi wali car then go for vitz

moreover if you increase your budget you will get aqua of fresh import
now this car is also hybrid

all dependds on your requirements....

if you need to use rought and tough and want pleasure of drive....then JDMs otherwise corolla....

if you need shape then city....

Its G touring, 122500 odometer reading
can the odometer reading be tampered or it will be original reading.?

I think issues must be in cars with very high mileage and tempered meters or bought accidented by dealers, otherwise prius is rock solid car and renowned for number of miles it can do!

I want to buy prius 2007 model in islamabad. I dont know how to check the complex system of the car. As per hybrid battery is concerned on whom should i check it. As conventional cars we bring mechanic and denter painter to check car but for hybrid car what should we do. Checking by pakwheels will suffice it or not?
