Purpose of ECO Mode of AC in Baleno GTI

AoA,

I am curious about the "ECO" option in AC of Suzuki Baleno GTI. Can anyone tell what is its purpose?

When it is turned on and off, it results in a change in noise / feeling of the Engine / Compressor. But I cannot guess its exact purpose. Anyone knows about this?

i had this function in my corolla 86 back in the day
the AC is supposed to trip more frequently on eco mode

It is like the Auto Mode in modern cars. keeps the temperature in the car appropriate and regulates the AC automatically.

it just reduces the compressor active time as compared to AC mode...no other effect...no change in engine noise or anything else...

Yeah... I just figured it out.. It trips compressor more often than AC mode. No other effect! Useful when the car becomes cooler and you do not need to keep AC running most of the time..!
