Push start as an immobilizer or not?

Hi guys I was looking to buy a new car and was searching for new pkdm swift as it has an immobilizer, but a few days ago I found that a model of vitz comes with push start system so wanna ask you guys that whether push start system works as an immobilizer or not as I have some security issues in the area where I live, upgrading from suzuki cultus,,, I do not wanna buy swift because it has quality issues also it has some sort of milage issues... And one more thing that which model of vitz come with push start system in 1.3 liters engine and what will be it's cost for a 2008-9 model thanks. Your comments will be appreciated.

Vitz also comes with immobilizer and in push start

dont know about the cost of vitz 1.3, but yes the push start in vitz has immobilizer also.

Vitz push start has very good equipped with immodilizer. it has same as in cygnes and other high end cars..

A new car will always be more trouble free than a JDM plus if God forbid you need to buy a bumper or spare light, you'll need some serious money!

Bhai Jan a used jdm is still better than a new pakistani suzuki car which makes too much rattles and noise on bumpy roads, a neighbour of mine got swift automatic and only after two months it started very bad noises, however they drive car very less,,, on the other hand we have used too much used jdm car, one owned by my uncle and if you believe me that vitz having fake odo meter of about 70k but still feels like a new car like it just came tomorrow,,,?

JDM cars are accident proof due to airbags and abs.

Thats the down side of JDM u have to drive it with extra care. Now a days lots of JDM spare parts r available in local market but they r expensive. Btw Suzuki Swift parts are also not that cheap.

i dont think swift dlx would have any quality issues... its a good car though old shaped, abs r good too.. while u can always go for tht push start button,

pertaining to airbags n abs as accident proof, trust me, in japan hundreds of cars get headon accidents... its all about driving safe.... there r so many times that airbags don't deploy too....

I would always prefer suzuki swift over Vitz as you would get
A new car 0 meter
Accident free
New engine , suspension etc
Availability of spares
JDM's are either imported accidental or High Milage cars , So you would always have problems with that (If you get a bad car)

If you become successful in getting a good jdm than its better, and about spare parts it depends upon you if you want driving pleasure and and looks than definitely you have to pay.. And about those who support pkdm for them in Pakistan according to my point of view only Honda is making cars which are in compition with those accidented pkdm in terms of performance and reliability.. While Corolla is also not bad but only problem is that no features even in altis like major component for Corolla is immobilizer as Corollas are best choice of car thief's.. While I Don't wanna talk about suzuki as only swift is a bit good in quality but that also starts rattling after some time.. The best thing about jdm that i like the most is that even after running 100k still they remain quite even if you do not take too much care.

I had a Nissan Sunny , which we drove for 2,68,000 km and the sold it.
I have a Apv which is 1 70 000km and still going strong .
If u maintain a PKDM it will last forever.
What ive seen is when people buy Jdm they change its oil before time , if recommended spark plug replacement is at 80k they change it at 30 , buy polishes , detailing items for the car , If they do the same for PKDM they wont give u trouble ( please dont quote me examples of mehran)

i dont understand whats the shashka of push start anyways?
u still have to insert key to unlock steering, i remember there was some issue in potohar for which mechanic pulled out wire,attached a button like of horn on bike u can say,n voila got a push start feature for that cheap

its not just a simple button shashka, its a smart key with no metallic key thingy and it has an electronic ID, u dont need to press any remote button to unlock the vehicle just put ur hand in door handle there is a touch sensor & it unlocks the car etc

Nah u dont need any metallic key to unlock steering because it has an electronic motorized steering locking/unlocking mechanism.

Smart key is very secure, to start the engine u need to replace the complete ECU. FYI
