Yeh cheez!!! this is what i am talking about. mods are not qualified to be mods. in this case they select a random guy and made him a mod. no criteria was used. no wonder most mods dont look fit for the job. coz they are just selected for the sake of increasing quantity of mods and not quality of mods.
Here is where i would like to answer Libra's question. The above case is a testament that pw wants more quantity than quality. hence mods are just randomly picked, if there was a criteria, a selection process to make a mod, then we would have a quality mod and not just some guy who himself dont know why he got the job and as a result got banned (he says himself that got banned for not doing his job properly). So mr libra from what i can see on this thread, we can see that most people answered quality to ur question, just selecting random mods will lead to quantity not quality.
and i see rozzzzz telling fawi not to talk about multiple ids. well if u didnt want a feedback then why make a thread. you can be a mod and do what u do best, del his replies and only allow replies that say 'mods are the best and they rule'.
and about the so called myth! well read my post again. i never said that u meet mods on GTGs and become mods. i said u meet them on GTGs and then get special privileges as a member (not as a mod). just check the this very thread for proof of that.
and about the other MYTH! well so many people have pointed out in this very thread where this has happened. mods do whatever they like. and are not answerable. let me give u an example. a reply i got from bilaltq for having an honest say at the bahria town incident.

I took the liberty of deleting your reply to @rajafahadk because at the moment, the moderators are trying their best to keep sanity in that thread. Your reply is completely justified, and has nothing wrong in its context at ALL. The only thing is that rajafahadk has a history on Pakwheels for starting a lot of fights, and especially at a time like this, he would be ready to do so against anyone. Even his first reply to the thread was pretty heated, and rightly so.
I'm just saving you, and the moderators a load of trouble.

i replied back saying i understand coz thought ok maybe he is right. but then next day i see old members saying whatever they wanted on the same thread and i was like WTF!!!
And about multiple IDs, well it is a BIG issue. dont try to side step it. Members make them so they can be wild on pw and say whatever they want. and if that ID get banned they make another one. this is one of the main culprits of bad quality of quantity on pw.
and if mods feel that this reply is not what they expected, then they can delete it and only keep ones that praise the mods. i think i have wasted enough of my time saying all this coz i know 100% it will have no effect on mods behaviour. but since mods asked for my opinion, i gave it.
