Well in my opinion best thing in this situation would be to consult another doctor before trying anything else, try Gastroenterologists like Dr. Furqan ahmed in southcity hospital or Dr. Zaigham Abbas at southcity/AKU.
It might be due to resistant H pylori infection and hence a infection is persisting, so first we need to find out whether the H pylori is still present or not, so she must get either a urea breath test or H pylori stool antigen or repeat endoscopy with biopsy any one of these performed to confirm persistence of organism.
In my opinion the doctor must have tried to use only amoxicillin and klaricid for 7 days first.
If this did not work then we could switch to flagyl or fanigyn and tetracycline for 7days.
By the way most important thing here must be the elimination of H pylori infection and not just the symptoms. The symptoms will improve with time and use of omeprazole and motilium you can increase zoltar to 40mg in a day to improve symptoms.
This last line is for the starter of this thread add me in the list of doctors.
