Sometimes during sleep in stage 1 when not in deep sleep, I suddenly feel choked and awake due to the feeling of not breathing. Feel like exhausted by running so take many deep breaths. Also feel dry tongue and dry throat so then drink lots of water and go to sleep again.... Sometimes feel is it the saliva or the tongue that blocked the air passage?
This not happen regularly but 2-4 times a month and sometimes 1-2 times a month. Wife and kids tell me that I snort loud since last couple of years.
