Actually not cloudy. she says in my right eye net or butterfly appears to me where ever i see and move my eye, and says it irritate me. some time net or butterfly or spider appears small and sometime big.

I went last night an eye specialist Dr. He also told, she has cataract in right eye. Dr said, two method one is Laser and second is Injection. Her sugar is under control but some time its not under control due to depression. Dr told , u have to go to Lhr and take eye ultra sound den i can predict which option i go laser or injection. Dr said, she has to take an eye ultrasound and also kidney test . when i asked , why should take kidney test, he replied she is sugar patient and i also have to check her kidney because sugar also affected on kidney. Mum is scared now and worried.Now going to two more eye specialist for their opinion. if they also recommend laser or injection for its solution then we are ready to get rid of her eye problem.

do u know the site(if its in upper/lower pole) and size of the kidney stone?
if its less than 2cm u can get extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy done... its a procedure in which "vibrations" are sent to the sides of ur abdomen where ur kidneys r located and the stones are broken down. so basically theres no operation.
but u need to discuss all this with a nephrologist.

increasing ur water intake, taking antibiotics and pain killers (the medication given in renal stones) is not helping as u have recurrent episodes of pain so u have to move to step 2: which is either getting a lithotripsy or a percutaneous nephrolithotomy ( a scope is passed into ur kidneys) done.

but a nephrologist is the best person who can guide u on what to get done. and yes, it an be harmful (can damage ur kidneys) if u dont get it treated or if the pain gets worse.

there r plenty of causes, depending on what type of stone u have. the stones r of 3 types : calcium, uric acid or phosphate. dehydration can also be a cause. the important thing is to get it treated. Its a common problem here so u don't have to worry.

so get urself checked by a specialised doctor, inshAllah you will be cured. The pain must be horrible, but u dont have to worry. Its completely curable.

what's important is that ur mother should contol her sugar levels, ur family will have to work on treating her depression by taking her out , ask her to meet friends/family, involving her in some activities, etc. and of course, depression can be treated medically but keep that as the last resort. so try to keep her busy. and along with this, enforce a strict diet with a low glycemic index (she should avoid rice, roti and sugary drinks, sweets)

call them and book an appointment. this way u won't have to wait for long. Unfortunately I don't know any eye specialist. The only one whom I knew and he was an excellent doctor passed away a few months ago.

yes, it's a trust hospital but it also caters for private patients. and they charge from them.

and another thing, after examining ur mother, they might suggest that there's no treatment for this and she'll have to live with this. In this case, they'll suggest relaxation techniques and other ways of ''distracting'' her attention from noticing this. because the laser procedure can't be done on every person. the major operation- viterectomy is rarely done these days.

how old are you? I would suggest you do back exercises (search for them on you tube). I lost a very useful exercise pamphlet which help remove this pain.

try to sit straight. don't slouch. and exercise (jog,cycle,swim) 15 min everyday. eat healthy food. it can be weight related too, if u r over weight reduce weight by using the aforementioned techniques.

yes, molty foam is good for ur back. it helps to maintain the curve of ur spine, thus reducing pain.

Coming to LHR tomorrow INSHALLAHA. An eye specialist Dr refer us to Rayteena Specialist Dr Tariq Khan who sit in Farooq Hospital on Main Boulevard Iqbal town.We have an appointment with him in the evening.
