Q about Mehran. My car moves without applying acc

I have purchased new Mehran VXR. When i apply first gear, my car moves forward without my foot on accelerator. similarly when i switch to second gear, this speed increases without applying force on accelerator pedal. My choke is also fully in. Is this normal with mehran Cars.
Secondly tell me what is good option to start a cold car. One should use choke or use accelerator pedal to start the cold engine.
Do the cars give more sound in winter season as compared to hot weather??

get the race adjusted.. it must be advanced. ths would solve the acceleration issue. this is not normal. the race should be set so that the car is stable when idling.

IMHO, a car should be started with the accelerator pedal and on petrol for cold season.

for some cars, yes the sound wont be normal unless the engine is properly warmed up.

I got new mehran 8 days back and i drove 350 kms. for last 8 days its accelerator was fine.
Today i did two new things.

(i) i started car through choke.
(ii)  secondly i checked my AC in second gear  for 20 to 30 seconds that either it is functioning properly or not

After this i stopped and next time when i switched on I observed that my car is giving more sound and its accelerator is working at its own. so kindly tell me what can be reason.
is there possibility that choke is engaged internally. i used choke for first time or may be second time.CHOKE IS FULLY IN. can i solve the problem myself or have to go to suzuki service center.

r talking about ...when u put the car in gear...and dont push the acce padal...and release the clutch padal and car moves....like it moves forward

if this is the case its normal in every car...but it will need acc above 5km/h....

yes rozzz u are absolutely right. this is the case. when i release my clutch car moves. it might be moving earlier aswell but i dont know why i m feeling today that it is moving with little high speed.
anyways, tell me kindly rozz should i get it checked or not.

well it also happens with our Mehran 98 model

I release the clutch and the car slowly moves forward
It also happens with our ALTO VXR

according to me its completely normal nd no need to worry boutIt gives me no problem

If u are trying to say that when u put the car in 1st gear n release the clutch without pressing accelerator the car starts to move then my brother what is wrong with that? The engine is running why should'nt it move?
But the important part is that it must move at a very slow speed like maybe 5km/h(as someone mentioned) so if it is doing more than that then u should adjust its idle running speed(u can do it urself)
The idle running speed is advanced in some cars so that they run smoothly and in ur case it might be advanced more than needed thats why u are feeling a change

sir then it ok.....its the perfect setting...i just did this on my car just to confirm ...on my gli and my khyber and my cultus and a friend liana....

all car have this thing ...so dont worry ...

i mostly use it when i m on signal...i take the car into first gear and and release cltuch a lil...so that it remains still but also the engine is running...so i dont have to use either brake or hand brake

as signal opens i just push the acce...and leave the cltuch iin full and u r good to go....

it also work on reverse gear 2....cheak it today

Thanks a lot Rozzzz and other member. today when i drove, i realized it is normal. On that day i might be more conscious about that.

But Rozzzz and other members  tell me what is good option to start a cold engine. Through accelerator or Choke???

Basically when an engine is cold, it runs better with a rich mixture (more fuel, less air). In older automobiles, the choke unit pinched off the airflow to the cylinder. In modern cars, there is no choke, just the computer controlling the fuel and air mixture on a moment-by-moment basis.
