Assalam O Alaikum!
i m new here and i like the Website and its great website about Auto!
here i m going to ask about my NISSAN PATROL SAFARI.
Can i goto Pakistan by road from Qatar?
If yes then i need to Do from PAK and Qatar?
If no then Y ?

2nd Q. Can i Ship the Same Car?
If yes wat i hav to do and wat will be Charges?
Note. The Car is 1999 model.

Q3.Can i Visit in Same Car to PAK by Road or Ship without any TAX in PAK?

and If i wanna leave the car there wat will be the TAX in PAK?

you can some how bring the car if you wish to stay in Pakistan for a long period of time such as more than 90 days in Pakistan. You need to check this through your country's foreign office and the Pakistan embassy too. Permission are generally granted for motorists all around the globe to travel by road to different countries. check with the authorities first. for the other part the car can not be shipped to Pakistan as it is older than 5 years and even if it was under 5 years you still have to pay all the taxes. Pakistan does not have a free port.

is it Possible for me to bring the Car becouse i m Pakistani. I just wanna go for 6 months by Car to PAK ..

and if i can do i have to Pay TAX for this 6 months or 3 months also ?

taxes are not on the time period you use the vehicle. they are for only one time when you ship something in and out of Pakistan. Even if you are a citizen or not the things do not change here. The import criteria clearly draws the line that a car under 5 years that is from 2007 to 2012 is allowed to be imported in Pakistan.

since your car is of 1999 model it can not be allowed to be imported here in any case without some high level influence. the documents required would be your passport, the invoice of the vehicle, the bill of lading and that's all. You need a clearing agent to get the car cleared on your behalf and some money...( Its paper too)
