Sir there is another problem I'm facing, time to time, the front wheels get jammed..... first happened left and now on my way back to Lahore, the right one. The cylinder is stuck open. It needs to be pushed back by opening the caliper itself and then pushing it back, also have to open up the bleed nosal, which needs another session of making brake.

There is a small cylinder missing which connects at the back of the brake pedal and on its place, there is a bolt tightened. I'm unable to find that "killi" or cylinder as you say, and I'm f'ed up due to this issue. Please suggest some thing about that. I am pretty sure, it is just because of that.

can you show us the picture of the missing cylinder from the manual or the internet?

Tell us from scratch what work has been done to the front brakes?

Brake is new literally, new brake survo with cylinde, new lines, new brake calipers with hubbs, new brake pads. Only the distribution block is old, but i've driven the car before on that distribution block and it was not a problem.

the cylinder is like a small adjuster type cylinder.... pretty basic... like a bullet.

Not sure what cylinder you're talking about

all these things are new as in BRAND SPANKING NEW or junk yard new?

Oh it is called Clevis Pin .....

It is missing..... what to do for it now. I am unable to find it anywhere.....

You can find tons of clevis pins in industrial places, if not then chuck a bolt in a lathe and mill it down, then drill a hole in it. The clevis pin is only used to tie the reaction lever of the brake servo input to the pedal. make sure the preload is not too tight otherwise you will permanently load the brakes.

Same with the output side - in that case there is no clevis but only a threaded screw.

btw.

why do you need to rebleed the brakes if you open a bleed nipple? connect a pipe to it and make sure the pipe goes upwards. No air bubbles to back in.

Yeah, i'll put the pipe in the trunk permanently now, its hard to convince the mechanics to do bleeding with pipe on.

mechanical is fine, just something is going wrong....

Yeah, some bhoots are pushing the pistons out and not back in

lets assume that all of those things are good.

Are you using the original MC and Booster?
Does your brake pedal retract fully? is there enough free play in the input rod?

Which brake fluid are you using?

@star2 I did it with a pipe. After replacing the brake proportioning valve of my car dont know with which car i barly was able to brake as peddle was spongy. Asked mechanics and two of them said its like this and is by default this low. Bought a pipe and did one person bleeding. Worked like charm.

by its size and function it looks like a 25~35W resistor. They used to be Rs 30/piece when I was in karachi. You can buy it in ceramic type too. When you make one make sure to mount it on a plate with some thermal paste so it can dissipate heat.
