These full control A/T have 2 spd sensors that are constantly read by the TCU to determine what gear ratio is selected, The last spd sensor (usually big mechanical pulser) is for the speedo drive.
The loss of link (0600) is normally set if the input shaft speed does not match the logic control compared to the crankshaft sensor speed. This TCU+ECU combo will actually make the transmission shift very smooth as the engine will reduce torque as the clutches are applied and the countershaft speed increases it then reapplies engine torque. The valve timing advance more feels like diesel torque in this engine.
Its like the Honda prosmatec (but Honda are chaval, akhrot, dimaagh kharab A/T designers). Nissan are light years ahead of them.
