I just bought a new QLED from Carrefour and I noticed some lightbleed from the backlight on this brand new LED. I'm attaching the photo which enhances the amount of bleed but I'm still curious if this should be an issue with a new LED or did I get a demo unit?
Then I also jumped into the service menu settings and found the following number of hours of usage on my LED:
Is all of this normal and is it just me or did they try to pull a fast one on me?
Yup that's not normal plus the usage time. Better go back and shove it up theirs......
Go back and get it replaced with new. This is ridiculous.
brand new units have under 17 minutes of run time on any LED TV. They shall replace the unit for you free of charge am afraid but it may happen at main office not at the store,
Do you have their number or address or sommething?
QLED is product of Samsung, call up any samsung office in your town pay a visit with unit & purchase receipt in original
Sure this is abnormal and a manufacturing problem.
You should return it.
it might possibly be a repacked display piece
Thanks for the replies everyone. I returned the LED and it was a used one. I got RU7100 instead because that was brand new.
I also checked from the service menu and the new LED was showing 0 hours of usage.
