I have no idea since I had never been in this type of situation before.
The inspectors wanted some rishwat as they kept saying stuff like “kal parsoon hi hamne falana politician ki gaari pakri hai” and “mangwao kaghzaat, kuch na kuch masla zaroor ho ga”. Heck, the first thing he said was custom pay kiya hai ya nahi?

Indeed. He wanted to keep the car and the file and I was like not today, b**ch!!!
In the end he told me that they had to do a laboratory test to check whether the car was stolen. Funny thing: we’re the first owners and the car was bought from a government auction, and these guys knew this.

Did you take their name and designations?
did they ask for any kind of bribe directly?
When they are doing this kinda shady stuff ask them the specific law. Sometimes even policemen make up new laws but when you point a camera at their face they shut up.
