This thread will serve as a life log for my cars, the time they spend with me, the time they spend at the mechanic's, and the time they spend gathering dust.
OK pls start it:)
Dude i wanna see your hondas. Hows the turbo going?
No need to delete it. Also, sorry for not posting anything here. My iPhone broke the same day I made this thread and now I'm searching for the pics.
Okay guys, so here's my Baleno AKA Bijli . 2,49,000KM on the odometer, original engine with every part original. No jugaars at all. This is my daily driver and is driven around 22K per year. Engine oil I'm using is Total 10W-40. Fuel average is around 13KM/L and workshop visits are very minimal.Do say Ma Sha Allah
Nahin nahin, will definitely delete it shortly, it's very disrespectful towards the thread.
2 Balenos? 1.3 or 1.6?
Nope. It's only one (the first one in the second last pic is my cousin's). And yeah, it's a 1.3.
I've changed the headlights quite a few times and the rims were recently changed.
How about Mehru, which year is that from?
That's a 2017. Currently stock except projector headlights
Aik aur bhand ho gaya. My backup phone's software went kaput and I lost all the photos which I had gathered in the past 3 days. FML
Don't know whether to lament or enjoy 🤷♂️
Here's my APV, AKA Panda. >70K on the odometer and is mostly used as a family hauler. Quite reliable except for the fuel pump failing twice in 3 months last year. Quite spacious and roomy but equally hard suspension. Overall a good minivanDo say Ma Sha Allah
Wow fuel pump is odd. Unless there was delay in fuel filter replacement, running car on low fuel habitually or of course some real bad batch of fuel or physical debris.
Sometimes car remains parked for extended period (at least 2-3 weeks). Between June 2017 and May 2018, car was only driven ~1500KM and remained parked most of the time.
to avoid fuel pump failure start the car every alternate day let it idle for 3 - 5 minutes and shut down. That will keep fuel purge valve alive working, failure of purge valve is tabooed as fuel pump by our ustaad class to change complete pump instead of buying purge valve which is a service item mentioned in service manual with a reference part number.
Roger that
Nice names.
My cars names are far more usualDesi or gadhagaari, bubloo, masood bhai etc.
