Query about immobiliser key of suzuki swift

Helloo guys
About 5 months ago i bought suzuki swift 2011 dlx.
It came with a single key which has lock and unlock button on it (which donot work) and a security remote to lock and unlock the car
Now I don’t have any idea about the immobiliser
But i am guessing that it doesn’t work thats why security remote is attached
Now how can i check whether the immobiliser is active or not ? Or how to get the buttons on the key itself. Working ?

first of all, make a duplicate key of this. ask the key wala to insert the simple duplicate key in the ignition and try starting the car - the car will crank but will never start and the check engine/security light will 'blink' - means the immobilizer is active and without proprt coding of this key the car will never start. now as a second step, the key wala will program this duplicate key as per your car and then this key will be able to start the car. in karachi, a duplicate key can be made easily for 2000-2500 rupees.
