I have Toyota bj40 80's model ,i am confused which engine i have it is 1B or 2B, it is not 3B because on 3b engines 3B is written on engine block and what is difference of fuel average among 1B,2B and 3B. kindly share your knowledge
if your vehicle is in stock set-up., check the vehicle ID plate for engine type trans/axle type etc.
engine difference & details you can read here, while the fuel average of each engine variant depend upon type of vehicle & drive train connected to it.

The Tapet cover design is different. And have many other differences. You can just send a picture of it, I'll confirm which engine it is.
