I have noticed that all of the so called available in Thailand "genuine" rubber seals in market seem to only work for a year max whereas the original seals of this car lasted about 10 years without any seepage in the engine bay, let alone dripping on the floor. I am sure mechanic is not making any mistakes in installation, I've changed all the valve seals at least three times now in past four years.
ignoring cost, what is the best place for getting better quality parts for this car?
also recently auto transmission was rebuilt due to slipping at 260,000km. Before that, the auto transmission would sometimes jerk going from 1st to 2nd, or from neutral to drive. Mostly when it is cold. Is this a valve or solenoid issue and whats the fix for it?
