I have Toyota vitz 2000 in prefect condition i have recently done tuning after tuning i feel that when start engine race is too high and after driving 10 to 20 min car is overheating but did not show any temp alarm so what to do guys.
How did you assume that car is overheating?
if the temp indicator doesn't show up then it's okay. as far as heating is concerned its engine it should heat up.
I think the mechanic didn't calibrated the throttle body with the diagnostic tool....try be resetting the ecu by removing battery terminal and connecting again....problem will be resolved as i have done the same thing with cousin's Gli.....
Dear he's talking about vitz 1st gen 2000 model and it has normal throttle body with accelerator cable not that motor throttle.
Seems like your throttle plate got decayed and after cleaning it is now leaking good amount of air into the engine, thats why RPM is high at idle. You just need to replace the throttle body's butterfly from any good "kharaadia".
As the RPM's are high at idle thats why you are feeling that engine is getting overheated.
