Radiator/Cooling system flush DIY of Honda Civic 8th Gen

Bro believe me this effing osaka coolant is stubborn. They way you have stated, it will never leave the system. To fully exile it from the block it calls home, you need to stuff a water pipe in the block and let it flush out from either the lower radiator hose opening by removing thermostat or from the block drain bolt. Otherwise, you will need to do the procedure 7-8 times to get rid of it. You dont want to see your orange coolant turn green dont you ....

I hope not..I can do it 2-3 times easily and im preety sure it will kick out all of that effing green crap out of the block..and as far as the drain bolt goes im 100% sure its on so tight that il do more damage then gud..so unwillingly the above mentioned procedure is the only one I have..I dont have the guts and especially the expertise that u have bro:-)

Any body tried a vinegar flush. Will it work?

I,ve flushed with citric acid aka tatri. Dont know how vinegar will perform. Not to mention its expensive.

Sliding a bit off from the topic, what player do you have on your civic ? I have the stock kenwood. The oem unit is hell expensive, the chinese ones have bad quality and branded ones dont look good in the dash

Well currently have an indash navigation system from dellson in my car..its not kenwood or pioneer to be honest but still it aint that bad as people say it is..came wid 6 months warranty its been around 9 mnths and its running flawlessly mashAllah..my civic came with the oem indash cd player that ur referring to but I took it out and have it wid me safe in my room..might sell it sometime though..

I got it for 26k coz it was with 3d navigation sygic maps..well its sound is not bad I wuld say 8/10 ..oem doesnt have an amp built in inside of it so most of the sound came from the front speakers but it was amazing 10/10 and it looks awesome too..and il send u a pic tomorrow definately coz I dnt have one right now..just to give u a thought it looks 99.9% like the oem navigation honda gives

Hmmm... it does look exactly like the navigation honda provides. Are the buttons and volume knob working fine ? because that is the first thing that fail in chinese units. And what is that display next to cigarette lighter ? Does it display mileage and coolant temp info etc ?

9 months gone and buttons and volume knob working flawlessly..it comes wid a remote control too..and yes thats a real unique and precious thing i got from USA..its called the ultragauge 2..it displays anything u want from the ecu..around 98 things to be exact..it displays coolant info,rpms,oil temperature,cat temperature,mileage in km/pl..u name it bro..its really really useful tbh..

If u were in lahore u wuldve been most welcome in listening it in mine..but do listen to it its a nice thing specially the maps are quite useful when u wana go around town and u dont knw where the nearest petrol pump or bank is..but remember its DELLSON not rockmars or premier..they all look alike..and some ppl on hall road fool the customers and sell them inferior things packaged in dellson packs so beware when u buy it.. if u need my help pm me ur number il get back to u..

Brother it depends upon the rust in the system. If it is heavily rusted, then you might refrain from doing it as your gasket might leak. Dont remember the concentration of tatri but it should be that the water turns milky. I ran for a short time to prevent the acid doing damage to system. Then i ran water in the system several times. It is better to run a mixture of baking soda too.
