if you run your fan directly all the time, you will affect
alternator life
fan motor life
you will warp the cheap plastic fan blade
burn the fan relay and sometimes wiring in less than a year
Kill your engine by running dead cold (if you or your mechanic lost the thermostat valve too)
heres a test you can do,
when going 40 km/h stick your hand out the window and check for air turbulence and how far it shoves your arm backwards - now stop and check the cooling fan air push.. you'll get the idea that you are doing no good running it direct.
Most good european cars come equipped with a resistor to reduce maximum radiator fan speed to 90% when running on A/C in hot climates to preserve motor life.
If your cooling system is good and clean, and the gauge remains ok, you will not need to fiddle with the fan circuit ever. Even Suzuki IFXs cool themselves easily on automatic fan with a thermostat valve in place
