Radiator leak raw egg remedy

Remedy for a leaky car radiator is to crack in a raw egg. This has been known to work, although automotive professionals do not recommend it.

Haldi ( Turmeric powder ) readily available in all Kitchens is known best to fix a leaky radiator.

One teaspoon of Haldi plug small leaks within two minute.

I knew about Naswaar but the eggs a bit risky and it may choke up the whole circulation.

Get the radiator and water circulation pipes and the water body washed properly after the local remedy ( Egg- Haldi - naswar etc ) has done the required job.

Because the thermostat valves may get choked resulting in fatel results for the engine ( Engine head gasket burning to engine sizeure )

the egg remedy is confirmed on Myth Busters. it does stop the leak temporarily. but it is not a permanent solution, as @shergill said it may be harmful.

I have seen haldi working in a toyota coarter on my way back from faisalabad back in 1992. It took us back to islamabad after a 5 hour run without losing water

This is some thing important as any of can be at a place or in a situation where we dont find any mechanic or repairer for radiator like on motor way or areas like balochistan so one should know such " tips" for immediate remedy.
One is Naswar, tested by me and drove about 100 kms.
Second is Turmeric powder.
Third and most important is to remove the radiator cap and leave the radiator open so that pressure should not develope and leakage will not be as fast as in case of cap on.

Put one table spoon of each.
1.1 tablespoon of sugar
2.1 tablespoon of salt
3.1 small chopped onion
4.2 green peppers chopped
5.1 Shawn masala for radiator

this will solve the problem in no time.

And the Engine as well as the Radiator would be happy to taste the lovely Onion gravy. After all the engine also has life and it should also taste what we humans eat!!!

Eggs or crushed pepper will work to. Remember for temp use only in case of emergency.

Believe me one of my friends car 's rad leaked at night around 2:00 am and he used huldee for it.

And it worked

I tested Huldi nd Naswar maself. Huldi was quite gudd car drove almost 150 kms after tht. Naswar, 25 km.

i get nuts reading that remedies.......salt haldi eggs :P....
maybe you don't wan't engine to run last longer.....i think till haldi its ok....egg and naswar :P.....egg can mainly block the water circulation while naswar can do something beyond your imaginations.....what it looks like when a naswared FX kicked 20V ass....:P...do try this...naswar does work like that....kidding

Most ppl would laugh at these type of remedies tht u ppl are recommending for a leakage in a radiator but its tru that egg temporarily stops the leakage.I also saw the naughty Mythbusters doing this 'myth' on TV but offcourse they said it was not the perfct solution in such a case!(haha).
What u ppl r saying is nothing! Coz u know mythbusterz are perfect in destroying things, If u ppl had watched that episode in which they used alcohol, sugar solution and bleach as a fuel in a car engine!!!, it would have been a nightmare for u!!!!!
