Radio cab service from Daewoo Rawalpindi to Quaid-e-Azam University?

I have found the PW community quite helpful even with non-driving concerns. Therefore I would like to ask the Rawalpindi/Islamabad members to tell me about the Radio Cab service in Islamabad. How much would it cost, roughly, to go from Daewoo Rawalpindi to Quaid-e-Azam University? Do they charge based on km or what? And lastly is it a 24 hour service?

i think around 15-20 rupees per km

Thanks dear but with the recent surge in fuel prices, I doubt they would charge 15-20 rupees per km. Even though they may have done so at one point in time.

Minimum Fare is Rs. 320/- for 12 Kilometers then Rs. 20/ for every additional km.
You may hire for for 7 hours or 100 kms @ Rs. 2000/-

BTW I checked with the Radio Cab service near Daewoo, Rawalpindi and thought I should share the info with you guys in case someone needs it. They said that they charge a fixed rate of Rs 500 anywhere within pindi and Rs 750 to anywhere in Islamabad. The contact number is 0345-5129479 (Javed).
