Rail dust on white brand new honda city

Hi. Just got my brand new honda city from the dealership. There are rail dust(orange spots) all over the car. How will I remove them? Will washing and waxing remove them? Really worried so I'll appreciate if someone share how to remove them.

Honda sales person said that this is normal in this weather. And searched that on Google many people has same issues. Problem is what type of thing should i apply on it to remove.

People are using clay bar to remove it. I don't know much about clay bar, also don't know how to apply it

Nope from islamabad. What they are doing now is transporting the car on train. By doing this all the rail dust comes to the car.

they shall do the detailing job for delivery ? buyers' in excitement of new car ignore the fact that it is a brand new car with faults at delivery.

Dust.... Soryy I read it as rust, dust isn't really an issue, get it washed

No sir that's called rail dust. That's an orange colour rust.Rail dust is exactly that, when cars are transported by train (rail) from the factory to a city, the metal wheels of the train cars running on metal rails create small particles of metal that fly into the air and land on the horizontal surfaces of the car. They are hot and will adhere to the paint.

And it is the company's responsibility to give you a shiny car. Anything less and delivery shouldn't be accepted.

Yup that's the basic point. They just use cutting cream or cheap compound which reduces paint life.

Used white vinegar that worked well. But still one dot is left which is not removing. Rail rust is also underneath the car don't know how to remove that. Also some is attached on silencer. What I judged buying that car is that it's made up of really poor quality.

Basically that rail dust is on every single car but it is only prominent in light colour car

please take the car to the dealership and ask them to clean it in front of you. If not then push them hard.

Having rail dust on a new car is absolutely not acceptable. you should never have taken the delivery. By using vinegar you are damaging the clear coat as well and that too permanently. Send it back and ask them to fix it.
