Rain Water Inside Suzuki Swift

I have a Suzuki Swift 2018 and everytime it rains, very little water accumulates under the driver's side carpet. Usually it's not a problem but I checked the carpet again today after the rain in the last 2 days and noticed there was some water not only in the usual place but also under the carpet behind the driver's seat as well.

I folded back the carpet and poured water (added food coloring too) on top of the car from almost everywhere but couldn't find any place where the water might be coming in from. Any suggestions?

By the way I drove in the rain and went through some stagnant water (about half tyre deep) but the water under the carpets was very clear, not muddy or any other color.

Check ur ac drain pipe.

As far as I know the AC drain pipe is on the passenger side rite? If yes then thats not the reason because that side is dry.

Have you checked the Floor of your car?? maybe its rusted somewhere there and water is coming from there..

AC drain pipe can also be the culprit but not seemingly in this case bcz drain pipe water drainage is on front passenger side just under the dashboard glove..

The floor is fine. I checked. If it was water of the roads coming in it wouldve been brown but the water accumulated was completely clear.

when it is parked at home finely( when no water accumulated in car), Turn on your AC for a while if water starts appearing then AC drainage pipe is culprit...

Will try that tomorrow during the day and let you know. But then again the drain pipe is on the other side and that part is fine :(. Thanks!

I've noticed a small amount of water accumulating under the driver's side carpet. To investigate further, I performed a DIY test by pouring water (with added food coloring) on various parts of the car's exterior, yet I couldn't pinpoint the exact entry point of the water.

Inspect the door seals around the driver's door for any cracks, tears, or loose fitting. Damaged or worn seals can allow water to seep in during rain or car washes.
