night stay in Khannian......nice experience with Heaven Rose hotel as usual... sehri iftari on time......
started after sehri on saturday and reached khannian same day after excursion to manoor valley from Mahandri... Jeep charges were 4500 PKR for return trip....... then next day late start to Kiwai and then jeep to Siri Paye @2800 PKR ... returned home just b4 iftar.......
Manoor Valley:
Manoor valley is assesible form Mahandri on main kaghan valley road on jeep.. the track is about 12-15 kms long and ends at the fablous Rewari Forest rest house. ahead of that is a green trek till Dher or Manoor top as it is called... the jeep track is ok not very bumpy or dangerous... there are several villages on way namely (in order) Bella, Banda Manoor, Sarri, Behari and finally Rewari (not populated). these villages have basic facilites of bazaar and schools but no hotels are there.... sarri lower is the most butiful of these villages. luckily for us Ramazan nay karam dikhaya aur a hot day turned into a rainy and cloudy experiece which made aur fast very very easy.....overall the valley is among the most butiful i have been to... its dense forest is just awsum and worth a visit..... even 2.....
Siri Paye:
Siri Paye is a common destination and most of the ppl already have been there so descriptions are no required. only worth mentioning detail is the horrible condition of the jeep trek. Had i not been fasting i would have rather hiked to the meadows then take a jeep there,......honestly ... said jaldi puhach jata... hahahahahahahah.. but views were great and rush was minimal so i enjoyed there and hiked around the Paye meadows...
teaser pic is of the REWARI GUEST HOUSE in Manoor valley........
