Dear PW Friends,

Last Sunday(Nov.18, 2012) happened to visit the "Rana Hunting and Luxry Resort". It was a one day family trip. Spent a quite good time there with Roaming, Shoting(not from a gun), Exploring and Participating with kids in their joy.

It is 90 KM from Faisalabad just before Head Balloki.
We traveled via FSD - Jaranwala - Lundianwala - Buchayki - MoreKhunda - Rana Resort. Road condition is good except a bad patch of 6km near More Khuda(BY-PASS).

Is it the same Rana Resort which is on Multan Road near Bhai Pheru? If yes, then when it became a FAMILY place?

Very nice start, look like a good family point for a day trip. I am planing a week trip of Lahore in December. So you point for sure will be in my list. Could you please mark the place on map so that it would be easy to go there from Lahore.

Amir Bhai, When you called then we were coming back frm there.

Immad Bhai yes it is the same place. Resort is comercially running from a previous couple of years.

Sajid Bhai, On main Multan road about 60 km from Lahore is Bhai Phero and from there about 10km towards right (Jaranwala road) is this place. Will show the location on map too.

Actually Me along with Faraz(faraz74) had a plan to trek Meeranjani but due to certain circumstances we've to postponed it and as a short trip I tried this one in nearest place.

Crossed MakoAana, a prominent town in the way. It is about 15km from FSD and a junction point of FSD, Khurianwala, Satyana & Jaranwal.
