Rare 1959-60 MERCEDES 180 PONTON FOR SALE

Hello everyone,

I have for sale a '59-'60 Mercedes-Benz 180 Ponton (RHD) Sedan I'd like to sell.

Before you read on, let me tell you this much. This car is a ROLLING SHELL for COMPLETE RESTORATION. Don't expect this to be some shining classic beauty- it will take a lot of time effort and money to do properly, but believe me if someone out there is a serious classic enthusiast, then it would be worth every penny of it.

This Ponton is MISSING MOST of its parts- it's basically a rough rolling shell missing engine, transmission, all of its interior, most trim parts and lights.

I am told it has a Karachi title (but it comes with no papers to confirm this).

I got this from a friend, who inherited the thing from his deceased uncle's estate. It will need to be re-registered.

This car is standing in F-7/1, Islamabad. Pictures to follow inshallah tommorow or day after.
First offer over Rs. 35,000 takes it! Will need to be towed/trucked away!

well if you wanted one you you could have posted a wanted add here I sold two old mercs around 4 months ago

one was a 1968 merc c200 with leather interioir. all complete and in running condition with original engine in good nicks for 20k.

One 1960 merc i think was 280. this one was still in orginal pain chrome was fit engine overhauled once rest was all good worth keeping if you like old mercs. original wheel cups and everything line to line straight. this was sold for 65k,

both cars were still first hand. had to fight with my father to get rid of them to free up space

if u really want to get rid of it then sell it at any price and let the buyer restore it. it will be the actual payment in terms of its real beauty restoration.
