Once at farmhouse there one rat got into engine bay of the car, possibly there ain't no way to get into cabin as almost all rubbers intact but that fellow got himself into air vents (Blower vents inside cabin) somehow and trapped and ultimately died there ! we never find it, so after few days, it starts smelling and we had an idea that its that same rat, so took car to Ac workshop and they opened up all interior, get vents all cleaned and get that stinky fellows deadbody out !
anyways, we used to have cats there at farmhouse so rat problem is controlled with it, rest for a safer side we also put rat kills inside engine bay , above air cleaner etc, inside cabin floor and always check first engine belts and all before crank it and remove those poison when car needed, thats a hectic job but have to manage.
