According to toxicology (study of poisons), thereāre two types of toxic animals; 1) Actively toxic, i.e. those can inject their venom directly into human body (snakes, scorpion, bees and wasps). These types of animals are called āvenomousā and 2) Passively toxic, i.e. those donāt inject their venom in human body, but they can cause illness (or even kill) an adult, healthy human upon ingestion (eating) (e.g. poisonous frogs and some kinds of insects). These animals are more familiarly known as āpoisonousā.
