Rate the best tyres for 175/70 R13 size

I m having 4 cars and having 4 different tyres in my cars ..I will rank the tyres like this :

1.Michelin (In Plymouth Minivan)
2.Dunlop (In Corolla 03)
3.Bridetone (In Indus 2000)
4.Yokohama (In Corolla 2006 "Still Having The Company One")

I have used two brands on both the cars I have owned.

1. Bridestone B70 (On Khyber)
2. Dunlop Lemans (On Cultus)

In my opinion, the Dunlop Lemans were the best I have encountered so far. Very soft and excellent grip. Howver, they tend to wear out quickly.

never get punctured since 11 months MASHALLAH .....as its putted 11 month earliers......1 tyre worth rs 2500......

pirelli,,,,,michelin and Good year ,,,,,ALL THREE ARE HARD TYPE TYRES WHICH ARE ALSO VERY GOOD FOR RACING

You guys have been awesome. Thank you so much.

My friend is suggesting Michelin Energy (82T). He has been using it on his Margalla. He is really impressed with this tyre. It has come with 100K km warranty at under 185Kph. It set him back by Rs.3500 per tyre.

Any comments?

usually the fancy expensive, high performance and aqua tread tyres are hard in texture, noisy on highways and not so comfortable.
well if the guy who recommended it knows about cars and tyres go for it:)

Actually I went (from Karachi) with my friend on his Margalla to Hyderabad via The Superhighway, couple of weeks ago. The performance of the tyres seemed quite good, although I am far from being an expert.

The car skimmed over the rough patches on the highway effortlessly without any noticeable noise and vibration at over 120kph.

@jz,

I have asked around about both Pirelli and Michelin. The general input (from tyre and wheel shops which stock both) is that Pirelli is harder than Michelin. Michelin I am told is not too soft and border-line hard. But like Pirelli it offers excellent road grip, although it offers more comfort than Pirelli.

I have also been told that if the tyres are too soft than they increase fuel consumption.

i have already said that michelin and good year are the best

and wud cost u around 4k each tyre,,,,,,,,,,,,and the coment that if u want to keep ur car for generations then buy these tyres,,,,,,,,,,,,,,is totally wrong,,,,,,,,,,,,,one shud always have the best tyres available

if your looking for better performance,control and durability then go for Pirelli P3000.You can get this size for Rs.2500 each.And you can get them from the pirelli franchise in blue area,Islamabad

I have bought the Michelin Energy 175/70R13 (82T) on Saturday. I got 100K km warranty on my tyres at less than equal to 118 MPH (185 KPH).

I got the tyres for Rs.3600 each with Rs.800 less for my existing General 155/70R13 Tyres in exchange. The total cost after exchange was Rs.11,200.

Took a trip Hyedrabad (Hala Naka) to eat Karhai on Sunday. The tyres were awesome even at 140 KPH. The drive quality and road grip has considerably improved. My cultus averaged slightly more than 15 KM/Litre on Petrol for the trip (with full AC/Heater).
