Pakistani mouse, hard to catch even with a trap!

well, do this at your own risk, you can buy small round balls, they resemble Gulab Jamans, just that they are grey-ish in colour. Costs about 20 rupees for a few of them. Coat them in flour and water, and leave outside your car and under the engine. They probably want comfort of the heat and once they eat the balls, they will get poisoned and die within a few hours or max 24 hours.

Now, you gotta be careful, don't want it to stink. Keep a track where they can be and get rid of them!

there is a new kind of trap available in stores. it is kinda like a book. but it has no pages. rather it is full of glue. you are supposed to put some bait on it and the rat will be trapped when it comes after it. it wont make a mess as it doesnt kill the rat. very effective.

I Have A Desi Totka:

1) Buy Rat Killing Medicine (Chohay Mar Dawa)

2) Cut A Tomato In To 3 Or 4 Piecies.

3) Sprinkle Some Rat Killing Medicine On A Piece. Note: Please Be Carefull While Sprinkling. Wash Your Hands After It.

4) After Sprinkling Put Those Tomatoes In The Engine Bay And Places Where Rats Come.

5) Rats Will Eat Them And Then They Will Feel Very Thirsty. After Max 1 Hour They Will Die.

Did u identify the passage from where rat enters ur car....? U need to identify its route and block that...

A rat somehow managed entering the AC ducts of our 2.OD Saloon back in 2005. The car was parked for a few months and when we started it and turned on the blower, there were rats in it and they all got minced inside the blower blades... YUCKKKK...!

For your issue, chooha maar dawa could be a lot worse since the rat could go inside your car to relax after being poisoned and could die... Better try a better "karukkee" or a mouse trap or contact Tom Cat.

the mouse will always come out after eating the rat killing desi medicine as it gets thirsty, it will run and run and then die itself, rarely it happens that it dies in car but do keep the windows etc open to let him escape and die. did ths with my FJ80 as rats attacked it after it remained parked for a season, none of it died in car.

well first of all identify whether its a rat or a mouse. My hunch is in your case its a mouse.
A rat is bigger in size and mouse much smaller. Both need separate kirrkee (trap) according to their size. Usually the ones available in markets are traps for RAT. They work for rat but not for a mouse. Because that trap will not trigger under the light weight and weaker force exerted by a mouse limb. Build quality also matters. These traps are usually of poor and rough built. Which might also be a factor in its failing to launch.

THANKS EVERY BODY but there is also another problem that a strange noise is coming from ac ducts whenever i swith on the air.its like something touching its blades of fan etc and it is also accompanied by a pungent smell...yucckkkk.today i tried mortein rat kill lats see its redults in morning:)
