Hello, once again
We plan to travel Ratti Gali from Rwp on 29th September. I got a few questions so I required your help. We will be travelling in vehicle (4x4).
1- We plan to make our 1st stop in Keran. How much time it takes to reach Keran from Rwp. Any good and economical place recommended to stay at Kera or should we make a stop elsewhere.
2- We plan to move ahead for Ratti Gali from early in morning, like 0600h. How long it takes from Keran to start point of hike for Ratti Gali ? How long the hike take ?

well keran from pindi will take abt 6-7 hrs in ur own 4x4.... without major stops that is..........

in keran there is Govt rest house which requires prior booking... wahan aur b hotels hain but rush kafi hota hai tu booking pehlay karwa lena... i dont have contact numbers rite now ......
for ratti gali u must stay in dowarian. there is a govt rest house there as well...... from there its direct route to lake.

well if i remember correclty the jeep track took 2 hours till tarkhana village. then it was a 2 hour hike till lake.. but i went in 2012 and i think the trek is reduced now.. jeep track is further up... mayb 1.5 hrs kahe trek reh gia hai bs..........and its easy.........

How far is Dowarian from Keran ?
And what do you suggest, should we stay the night at Keran or Dowarian ?
We intend to spend just one night there.

We were there a week ago:
Stay at keran: no khap at all. Sakoon.com,
And u will find good hotels with wifi.
Dowarian is 11 km from keran.. and 2 hours jeep track from dowarian.. (18 km) almost:
After jeep, hardly 1 hour hike.

And do we need to make advance bookings or it will be available on arrival ?
