Hi everyone,
I'm from Morocco and I own a corolla 2.0d with 2C engine model 2007 with 200k KM.
After changing the timing belt in Toyota dealer, the engine makes a rattling sound only when it heats up, when the engine is cold it sounds normal.
This video illustrates the sound
The toyota dealer says it might be a valves clearance issue . but theay have no idea what this happened after changing the T Belt. they rechecked the T belt alignment and everything seems ok.
The oil they put on is 15w40.
Also I didnt notice any abnormal vibration or performance issue, and there is no white smoke on cold start or whatsoever.
What could this soud due to ??
thank you for your help and greetings.
