yes similar is mine experience with this battery , just top up ur water level and it can last for more than 2 years without any problem

with what intervals should one inspect the water level of the battery ?

yar someboby tell me y my bike dosent go beyond 8rpm in 4th and 5th gear while its top speed @ 8rpm was 100km.it goes to 11 rpm in 3rd gear and speed @ that time is 80km

well all bikes are built this way so that the higher the gear the same speed is maintained with lower RPM.

now about the bike not going more than 80 or 90 or 100 well I belive its with all these bikes MOSTLY.
I just hope mine does not follow the same patren after its runing is done.

yaar china maal = third class quality = bad bike

pakistani bikes = better quality = a better bike

people ask is honda 125 dlx worth 1+lakhs? i would say that since rupee is falling in value, prices are increasing. so while honda increased its prices to maintain cost, compaines like ravi keep prices same (or even lowered them) at the expense of reduced quality. if one has more money then they should definitely go for honda, but if u cannot afford 125 dlx then go for suzuki, as it is far better than ravi. only go for piaggio if u have free money and do not care what happens to ur bike 1 year down the road.

put me in the catagory of someone who dosent have much money but also does not caree to much about the bike lets say in 2 to 3 years.

I had a trail KE175 then a suzuki 2 stroke A100X then had a honda 125 and last was GS150.
and now I have this Ravi PIAGGIO storm 125.

lets see what happens, but the best bike in my experiance from all these was the Suzuki A 100 X .

by the way PIAGGIO is ITALIAN not chinease even thow most of the parts are made in pakistan and assembly is also being done here so you guys out there know rest of the story.

and iv done 650 already had my first oil change on 260.

when did you buy your bike?
and what colour is it ?

first oil refil of my tank cost me 600 RS.
I did 240 KM on it.
so on average it gave me 30/L

second tank refil again cost me 600 Rs.
my milage showed 560 Km so then when I take out the inital 240 then it means that I did 320 KM.
so it has now cost me around 40/L

now I hope to get beter average after the first tuning is done hopefully INSHALLAH.

I bought my bike on the 14th so my mistake, it's been more like ~3 weeks.

I am getting an oil change (I bought the oil last week) as soon as possible, but this kind of depends on how lazy I'm feeling. Plus I'm headed to Karachi in the next few days (Thank God, I hate Lahore), and so I may end up getting the oil change/spark plug change when I come back.

It's black in colour.

bro avg mostly depends upon the riding style ,keep it under 60 and u will get the most
+the petrol pumps , nt ever1 has a fair guage
mine gives 42 ~43 km/liter in local at speed of 60~70 with an occassional burst to 110km/h sometimes
in Rs200 petrol i get 115 to 120 km normally in local
regarding water level have a occassional check after two months , and keep it above the high level

i appreciate all of you to make a market of this bike on this thread look at pakwheels peoples selling there ravi piaggio and mostly have done just there running period can i ask y? i also visit olx and there also same bikes are advertised only done 1000 to 3000 kms

es ka jawab hai aap ke pass umer009???? u seem to know each and every thiung about this bike, almost as if u manufacture it by hond OR almost as if u sell it
ravi is fail bike period. argue all u want umer009 but in the end ravi is there for like 2 to 3yaers and i see none on road (only saw one parked once). but i guess as a salesman it is ur job to sell these for ur commission :)

ravi piaggio ki sale km honay ki reasons:
1)there is i think 1 showroom selling piaggio....aur display hai he nai k log dekh saken....shop k end pe khari ki hui hain.....
2)no advertisment
3)no antenna centre
agr ravi walon ko apni sale badhani hain to inko in cheezon pe sb se pehle dehan daina hoga.....aur jo dealers ravi bech rahe hain inko chaiye k piaggio ka dispaly aisa den k hr bnda daikhe.....jaise atlas krta hai.....phir inki sale double ho jae gi....aur apne faults ko khatam karen jaise starting problem,top speed,pick-up....jo shuru mein bethti hai...phir uthti hai....phir Inshallah tbai mach jae gi....

I agree with you on that point. I myself have that kinda passion for bikes and cars. I would like to respectfully request you and Ashfaq87 to avoid making fun of eachother. Specially my dear Ashfaq87, lets not make fun of people. Thats not very polite. Try to ignore umer009 if you dont agree with what he says. And Umer bro lets not praise Piaggio too much. I had it for 2 years. It has its pros and cons. Though I loved the bike and I am a fan too but they need to improve a lotta things in that bike. I hope both of you dont mind me saying what I said.

@All everyone talks about ravi is this ravi is that ... but mujhe mere sawal ka jawab do .. if ravi is good bike and if they have great after sales customer services why they are still unable to provide bikes in hyderabad and many parts of the pakistan. ravi ko itne saal hogai hain and is forum pe mene jis kisi k bhi comments dekhein hain woh punjab se belong karta hai matlab they are just running thr product in punjab ?

have u tried it before to take it beyon 8k rpm agar nhi tu ab lejany ki koshish karo
1st gear 0-45
2nd gear 45-65
3rd gear 65-90
4th gear 90-115
5th gear 115- onwards
try to achieve these speeds in the mentiond gears. Total 3 days tak ye karo aur 1 din mai 1 bar hi zaida ka koi khas faida nhi hoga. on the 3rd day u will feel your bike light and more responsive. aur ap ko engine oil ka bhi khas khyal rkhna pare ga. My bike gives 100 in its 3rd gear @ 9k rpm. personaly i would not recomend to take bike beyond 110 as these bikes are not for racing.
