Dear all
I bought used honda 125 (Model: 2014) in March-2018, and paid payment to the seller after transfer/receiving computerised slip.
Now, I have been visiting Excise & Taxation office, Rwp since then... They are saying that no sticker is being issued from last 3 months...is it true?
Bike is on my name, when I checked on their website. I have nothing, except this computerised slip...Please tell me what to do???

Sometimes vehicle registration/transfer takes months. Back in 2012 my swift registration took 7 month. Your best bet is meet an agent outside the excise office (there are plenty sitting there) and discuss the issue. They have complete firsthand information. They will inform you whether there is actual delay in issuance of sticker or the excise office wants some money. Also, if there is actual delay then there is no harm in keeping the computerized slip as long as u keep extending its date from excise office. Soon, registration book and file of your bike will arrive too.

Should I launch a complaint to the ETO? I am afraid of being caught by Police/superd-dari etc

Bhai ji aajkal poorae Punjab main registration books issue nahi ho rahi sirf number plates issue ho rahi ha .get help of agent aur apnae lia number plates issue karwae . I did same . Registration book jab tak issue nahi hoti .us waqt tak website per bhi naam nahi aye ga aur jo document aapko mila ha computerised slip ka
Get it stamped by excise office .kae aapnae paisa transfer ke lia deye dia ha aur you are awaiting for real sticker .phir koi traffic police wala aapko tang nahi karae ga .main pichlae 2 maheenae se isi tarha chala raha hoon
