Re-chroming Grill,Monograms & Red panni for Lights

Can any tell from where in Karachi, i get re-chroming the front grill of Cultus(I think previous owners have installed NG(Non-genuine) parts and so it has lost shining & rust spots r visible.
I am talking of this grill, Both monogram as well as grill has lost shining & requires re-chroming(please do not suggest to use chrome paints)

also back Suzuki logo also got rusted:

Secondly please confirm in Karachi from where can i get such red color sticker strip(Red coloured panni as called by local mechanics :p) Actually mine gets yellowish being NG(Non genuine) so wanna hide with this trick for time being

Have you tried applieng brass polish?

I have tried it on various chromed items which believed to become rusty and lost it chrome. but when i applied the polish and rub it for a good time. All shine was back.

Turtle Chrome Polish is expensive

You can find Local made Kiwi Brass Polish from local departmental store its cheap and does the job very well.

when i saw the title i thought you were asking about rechroming some vintage cadillac or something
anyway rather then rechroming just get the embelems replaced. they are cheap as chips.
rechroming is not simple nor cheap. and these badges are all plastic with a chrome look
go to any decoration shop and you will get the red tape etc

Bhai, my hard earned bought Cultus is my Cadillac, my prado, my Audi for me
I think suggestion of @angel82 is quite reasonable.It is not easy to replace Emblems every 2-3 months

Thanks for suggestion. I have not tried yet but as you have experienced yourself to restore the shine-ness then its perfect.

BTW i remember, Sanitary-ware selling shops also use such Brass polish for re-polishing or deep cleaning of Bath Showers, Muslim showers,concerned pipes etc. It helps in restoring their shine-ness too.
However, i also want to mention that i saw some people use "Brake-Fluid" too for restoring the shine-ness but one has to be too cautious and careful while applying this to maximum save the Paint

One method that i am using from a very long time and is very effective to restore chrome parts even bumpers is to use aluminium foil(used to wrap food etc). Cut a small piece of aluminium foil and rub it(like we use sandpaper) onto the chrome part that needs to be restored make sure you use wet foil and spray water on the part and foil from time to time. It wont cause scratches. You will see the foil actually pulls away the rust,oxidation etc. Actually some reaction takes place from foil which eats away rust and oxidation etc. This is my method

Your method is also easy DIY but seems chances of scratches/rubbing spots. I think @angel82 has given easy, reasonable solution
