Its been more than 5 years since i first found myself into the obsession of detailing.
I had a black car so started spending all my money into this obsession. Meanwhile used many high end products including dodo juice, Pinnacle etc.
Then went for ceramic coats and their maintenance sealants.
But due to dust i had to sale black car because of continuous obsession.
Bought a white car and started applying all things on white car.
Long story short, no doubt these waxes, sealants and coatings paid back somehow, be it in terms of looks or protection.
But when i look at my uncles car which he bought in 2006 and since then he is using cosmic regularly once in a month or more, i don't find major difference in my car and his car(both are white).
His car surface is always very slick and smooth to touch even though he doesn't know about clay bars and never used one, never compounded his car, only cosmic. On other hand i always have to decontaminate the paint regulary after 3 to 4 months due to very rough surface.
But still there is no major difference.
My question from experts is that as we heard different bad things about cosmic, was that all myth and its good product? And should high end products are waste of money?
And title of this thread could be misleading.
