Shakeel bhai is saying my compressor and condensor would be replaced if I want to make the existing system work with heater. Total cost 37k.

He himself is recommending Vitz system (without heater) which will cost 45k.

He will probably negotiate about 2k max.

Will take 6,7 hours to assemble

Khyber comes with 12inch wheels i guess. It would have been better if you kept stock size.

so far so good. You should have swapped the wheels with new alto 660 wheels both are size 12 and inter changble.

Yes Sir I had more options. But I wanted to have a wider tyre for some looks and 13" rims to lift the car a little. Effectively, the car's height has gone up by 1cm overall, but it will help me adjust the spacers a bit.

Need advise on AC. I have heard vitz setup exerts less load on the engine too.

Install original setup but with multiflow condenser, the factory denso compressor is more than OK, the piping also fits perfecly, The evaporator is also ok for sizing.

Make sure to wire up a high and low pressure switch and also a hot engine switch. From factory it was clipped to waterpump intake pipe.

The only upgrade would be the condenser and the condenser fan to cope with r134a gas.

Rest is easy. Make sure to have mechanic properly orient and install the expansion valve with brand new insulation tape too.

My original compressor is worn out as per the technician. It's a piece of scrap now. I had de-installed the system back in 2017 and it has not been taken care of since then.

I have been reading multiple threads on car ac and trying to figure out which technician to visit. Not sure if sabir is there but even if he is, I guess he won't touch this old car.

@capsat Sir you had recommended some shop near nagina bedding. Are you still going there for ac problems?

Bhai, u have sold the original steelies and put these ones which makes car odd. if u would have stuck to the original profile, there would be a lot of difference in ride. anyways u have done it.

Secondly, dont go for the vitz ac setup. they will take out your ac blower setup and put the vitz setup which needs cutting and a hole will be made in the firewall. the vitz setup is too big and will hit the feet after installation plus your heating system will be removed completely.
as per them the cooling will be like "sheehso per pani jama hojaega" but dont go with that philosophy. dont ruin your car further, get proper things installed.

Third most, u r missing rubber plug from your floor pan, get them all installed as they take water and dust. your car needs serious undercoating as the pictures says. there are many open spaces.

forth, get the pil removed as soon as possible and dont drive the car with overfilled oil as it will damage seals.

check the marking # 1 in the image. what is it?

marking 2: your fuel lines are hanging. get their channel fixed.

marking 3: the dholki is oddly put there, have you copied the pipes and bend according to the original one that came out or the silencer wala did it with his own will?

With these 13s u need to lower the height from both front and back end. khyber originally has low ground clearance, with this profile u will feel ride a bit hard.

1) what do you mean: " which makes car odd"? a lot of people are using 13" rims, so i went with it.

2) Thanks for the advise regarding AC. Will get the original one sorted.

3) Yes rubber plugs are missing for now. I have bought them all already. I am not driving the car regularly. Just taking it for random small works till electrician gives an appointment.

Regarding undercoating, I got it done properly with 2 coats of berger autoshield mixed with petrol as mentioned in post 286. I think as per your and @helper_learner's comments, I will need to get another couple of coats.

Dholki system was installed with the original "nakke". Just 4 inches of modification so that the system becomes flange compatible and fits with bolts instead of welding. The front part had flange but the dholki didn't, so we had to weld a separate part of flange. I made sure the dholki is lifted up as much as possible. The bends, yes i made sure, the bends are utilised as per the body chassis of the car. The previous setup was also not original so copying that would have been a mistake

Yes fuel lines are hanging, i saw them too. Will get it fixed when i go to denter again for outer and inner body parts.

My car has some huge sized spacers installed to compensate for CNG kit (which is removed now). So I had to lower the height and with bigger rims and tyre (155/70/13), i will get slightly better ground clearance than 145/80/12

call up umair mirza at quick cool 0321 2127270 at khushal road. sabir in north nazimabad has lost the professional charm. many complaints multiple visits required to sort out issues.

number 1 is basically an opening to access the brake line (brake oil line i guess). I checked today again

odd means due to height its looking odd, once the height is adjusted it will get right.

My vote is also in favor of keeping stock a/c system with heater on.
@miqdadkanani Don't go for Vitz one as I am having it so can guide you transparently.
