My 2007 Civic's Windscreen cracked up and I need to get it replaced. A shopkeeper has quoted price Is. 6500 (green shade) and 7500 (blue shade). I know they ain't made by Honda itself but how me being a layman can determine which one is better than the rest? I mean shall I look for specific make type logo or number on the glass?

All help would be appreciated plz

That's so cheap! My friend got his Corolla Gli 2013 (old shape) front windshield changed for Rs 22,000. How come this windshield is so cheap?

Go to 3s. Will be fitted under 10k.

10th Gen Corollas windscreen comes around 4500-5500 and 10k for altis with a green strip.

2500-3000 for gas ones.

These are obviously copies. Geniune ones can cost insanely high. I remember someone quoting a genuine with screen for some car for 60k.

PS even a Mazda RX8 windscreen costs around 8-15k depending on quality (inquired for a friend from plaza Jim Karachi)

I would probably be going to Plaza (MA Jinnah) tomorrow, can I get leads to a guy with better reputation there? Or shall I go to 3s? I am on a budget!!

Back when I owned 2008 civic...I can recall that I changed my windscreen in 7300 and 500 additional for istallation charges....no Blair effect or spreading of incomming light in night....very clean....if find some thing like that it is far good to go ...at that time contacted city sales lahore for replacement and I was quoted 42K including 5K for installation charges....In your case I think for 11 years old car even for resale buyer doesn't expect in 100% geniune state so not worth to go for genuine replacement.

This is micheal good guy he can come to your home and office and fix it there. SInce after fitting you need your can to stand still for 30 min to 3 hours. better get it done at your place.

Call him he would guide you better.

Just for the record guys Got it replaced at my place byt that Micheal guy recommended by chinyoti (As I was short of time and couldn't drive to MA jinnah road) he charged me 7500 for the screen and 1500 for the labor... Hopefullly wont have any issues

sorry for late reply but your windscreen comes with built in mirror base plate and embossed Honda logo which will not be wiped when rubbed from inside. If going for replacement do not install anything but Fuyao USA, It's the OEM for Honda.

Got corolla 2010 windscreen changed from 3s and they charged 56K for the job.

Sir i just read your comment on Fayuo windscreens so i need some suggestions about Fayuo is it a good windscreen.
I need to replace all the glasses on my car its corolla altis 2013 bcoz someone put hard scratches on each glass except for the two quarter ones and at night it so annoying and also doesn't look good.
So please give me ur valuable feedback.

Walailumasalaam , first check if scratched glasses can be hidden via zero paper or invisible sheet. If not then all door glasses for corolla you can either buy Fuyao for 2500 each or buy agi (local but door glasses are good if they are with built in clips and cheap). Also see if door glasses can be made available in kabuli parts. Fuyao is OEM glass , should be the same specs and quality that comes installed in your car. However , since Fuyao can or cannot be available or can be expensive so in door glasses we can look at alternatives but those that are reliable. For example agi is a good manufacturer for door glasses as long as they are coming with built in door clips. Or you can also search in kabuli if anyone is stocking them. First priority you can find Fuyao if not then go for agi . last option would be kabuli as you are already having glasses but they are scratched so kabuli wouldn't make sense.
