Khalid working at the speed of light repairing my rear right brake

Decided to change both the upper and lower pulleys since the old ones weren't that great

replaced the upgrade oil filter, cleaned the internal mesh filter, replaced the gaskets etc

Was aadvised to use this oil in the 1303 for now as it meets the original specs(Y),.. love the name!

Yes the oil says "BIG CNG" on it:P

at the end we realised that we had swapped out the old 28PICT carb for a 30PICT carb a few months ago and had forgotten to swap out the carb diaphragm,.. luckily i had bought a new one from moqeem a few days back so i had that installed after i personally cleaned out the carbs internals,.... the 1303 drives liek a dream now and the flat spot around 2000 rpm is gone too (Y)

^ still alot more to go. still have to drop the engine, swap the mounts, change the brake master cylinder, swap the brake pipes, remove the alloy wheels, fit dual carbs, find and fit a 2nd lock spring for the drivers side seat, find an ashtray, lower the suspension, fit the remaining suspension bushes, change the clutch, find a replacement fan and shield,... the list goes on and on. by the time i'm done my kids will be in college:(

honestly speaking my car is fine,.. but as you know i'm just obsessive with my own projects and everythign has to be EXACTLY as i want it.

i've already got a beetle which is more than capable of drifting,.. the one i brought to my first meet in damnekoh. that's a 1500 deluxe with an LSD:)

technically the "project" part is over, now it's fine tuning and mods.

long run test complete (with added bonus of rain.

faults found:

Braking needs improvement (using releathered pads at the moment)
Water finding its way into the rear footwell (possibly from heater pipe)
windscreen fogging up (need to find way to move more air to screen)
All axle boots need replacement

Overall test was a success

i have seen a LED type of light used as a fog light... these lights are realy slim just like a pencil...it looks like an AUDI light..u cannot put same as audi ..but u can make it possible by joining them...i have never seen any 1 in pakstn puting lights same as audi..but i think it is possible..u can make a revolution...

thanks for the idea, have been looking into LED lighting for the 1303 (but for the interior/speedometer). Glad you like the car so far buddy.

Please keep the car as the classic it is. Don't make it in to some audi wannabe or anything else for that matter.
