@RB i learned how to drive in my LWB SJ410, i still have it but it is used to transport animal feed now as well as furniture, plants etc from house to house
@parapilot i'm trying to avoid a repeat of the 1303 thread, now i'm only updating this thread when i have some clear updates. the thing is that i want to do it right, as opposed to doing it the pakistani way (shiny paintjob and pathetic mechanicals)
@rusty hopefully i'll have the car "running" before you get your liscence, but since i'm very picky about rebuilds it'll take years before the car is "satisfacory" in my eyes. infact the 1303 which has so far become the most expensive 1303 in PK in terms of money spent on the car is STILL not up to my standard. like asadishaque i'm into correct VW rebuilds not half-'ssed rebuilds like most people do in pk.
@all romano was at the workshop today but was so busy that he didn't get a chance to see my painted 182 so i think i might make a run ther eon sunday morning or monday morning. please be patient, this one will be alot of fun when it's ready but i don't intend on rushing it since these cars are very rare in PK (specially an original 1978 RHD 182)
