There're lot of Nissan trucks in junkyards of Indonesia, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand etc. Isn't it possible to import one from one of these countries?

buy some more parts and tools ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, tomorrow Friday i will try to adjust the front torsion bar suspension ,,,,,,,,,,, increase height from front and drops couple of inches from back by adjusting the leaf springs ,,,,,,,,, off course i cant handle the leaf spring so that job will leave for some road side mechanic ,,,,,,,,, i think it?s not wise to completely level the car from front and back ,,,,,,,,,,, if so then I may need to adjust the load distributing valve ,,,,, anyhow will figure out all that later ,,,,,,,,,,

Bro how much did u buy this jack stand. I need those as well

Yes you can but only Japanese used engines are preferred .
Singapore used engines have low market value and they are not in better condition.
If you wanna import then import Japanese used engines from Japan or UAE
But they ship minimum 20 ft container (45 engines) not a shingle one

May ask some bulk importer, so he imports 44 different engines and you get the Nissan's engine

Well felling lazy these days because of Ramadan month , but still manage to complete few tasks and now car is in fully working condition but still not perfect ,,,,,,,,,,,, almost all gears were offset and gear lever need a new kit ,,,,,,,, it has been previously altered so I cannot do much with it ,,,,,,,, anyhow now gear lever is in its place and working well ,,,,,,,,,,, drive shaft seals also been replaced along with gear oil ,,,, carrier bearing also need replacement but I am leaving it for a while and will change it during entire rebuilt ,,,,,,,,,,

While I remove drive shaft I noticed a leaky differentialseal ,,,,,,,,,,,, It has handy to change it at that time so I changed it aswell and also the diff oil ,,,,,,,, <o:p></o:p>

Adjusting front wheel height of torsion bar suspension is dead easy ,,,,,,,,,,, I got the required height with in few min ,,,,,,,,, later I adjust the rear leaf spring suspension as well ,,,,,,,,,,, there is an 1.5 inch difference between front and rear suspension ,,,,,,,,, from rear its 1.5 inch higher then front ,,,,,,,, if you set equal height of front and rear then you have to re adjust the load sensing valve ,,,,,,,, may be later I will adjust equal height after adjusting loading sensing valve ,,,,,,,,,

There were 6 left spring fitted on each end instead of 4 ,,,,,,,,,,, and that make car too hard on jumps ,,,,,,,, you can actually feel every single bump ,,,,,,,, shock absorbers were also leak and nothing left in them ,,,,,,,,, change both main leaf springs and reshape rest of them ,,,, also remove 2 extra springs ,,,,,,

Front suspension is really in bad shape ,,,,,,,,,,, it need complete overhauling which I cannot do at this time ,,,,,,, some hand made rubber bush made from old tire has been fitted ,,,,,,,, all steering ball joints need replacement ,,,,,,, leave this job at this time and will do that later ,,,,,,,

Seats were in tidy condition ,,,,,,, they need a complete upholstery job ,,,,,,,, luckily I met a nice guy babu bazar rwp and he has done a nice job ,,,,,, also I made a matching door cards along with the seats ,,,,,, and the one I buy ready made are left unused ,,,,,,, old carpet been placed and later I will replace it ,,,,,,, also fit some sound insulation underneath carpet ,,,,,,,,

they cost me 2600 PKR for a pair with 6 Ton capacity ,,,,,,,,,,, 3 ton cost around 1800 PKR

well may be he has actually trimmed down the fuel ,,,,,,,, as I never drive 2L engine before so I cant compare it with anything but just recently one of my friend drive it and he said its lacks power ,,,,,,,,,,, but I am really not willing to do anything with this engine, I will try to swap back its original engine/gear ,,,,,,,,,,,,, and that roaring noise is I think because of oil sunk air filter and no sound box ,,,,,,,,, I have changed the entire air filter box and that noise has almost gone but it still need a sound box ,,,,,,, radiator I have already changed and its working very well ,,,,,,,,,,, no overheating issue till now ,,,,,, engine is less noisy after these 2 mods ,,,,,,,
measuring input drag torque ,,,,,,,,,,,,, I don?t have any tool and skill to do It at this time ,,,,,,really I am not happy with this steering system ,,,,,,, first it was leaking and I fixed it after changing all the seals of steering box and also completely flushing the system including reservoir bottle plastic filter ,,,,,, but its still hard ,,,,,, and also now it got atleast 2.5 inch steering side play ,,,,,, manual say it must not exceed 1.38 inch ,,,,,,,,, steering become too hard on idle engine and also on normal use but as soon as I push the pedal to the limit it become smooth ,,,,,,,,,, under all normal use it stays rock hard ,,,,,,, I think its because of the weak hydraulic pump ,,,,,,, at this time I don?t have any pressure gauge to verify it but I am sure it?s a faulty hydraulic pump ,,,,,,,,,,, new pump is not available in market ,,,,,,,,,,, second hand kabli pump is available in around 10k ,,,,,,,,,, as I just need a cheap temporary fix so I plan to rebuild it ,,,,,,,,, its a vane type pump and I think It can be rebuild ,,,,,,,,,, previously I rebuild the break vacuum pump of this car which is also a kind of rotary piston with vane on it ,,,,,,, break become rock solid on idle and now its working find after changing all the vanes ,,,,,,, new vanes of exact size were not available so I buy a bigger one and hand fabricate all of them ,,,,,, but yes that vacuum pump was lot simple then this hydraulic pump but I will gave it a try ,,,,,,,, its a kind of working blindly without having the right tool for the right job ,,,,,,,,,

he has trimmed down the fuel - nothing too special - the engine will be gutless to drive though, the roaring noise will the locked up fan clutch, repair it and dont use the electric fans - they are useless compared to the clutch fan.

btw - in your steering repair you did not show that you measured the input drag torque of the barrel or the drag on the sector shaft.

I'm sorry, I have no idea about it I'm just offering a suggestion, it seems like you have many friends in Cha Sultan and Saddar, please ask them if they can import one for you

Anyway, I really appreciate that you are supervising every single job being done. I also own a 1980's car so I understand that it is a DIRTY JOB to get under the car & ensure the mechanic is doing the work right.
