By cutting /removing this rusted panel...we achieved two thinks.....One is obvious to replace it another more important is to expose the base of B POST pillar so that we may be able to take good care of it...and replace it with our newly fabricated panel...

Just notice that we did not disturb the position of Body to chassis mounting clamp.....It is exactly there where it was..very strong.....instead we spotted our new panel with it....

another closer look ....old panel was nothing but rust...I hope that this new one lasts a good life with proper sealing and priming/painting....

And now we come to the next but very important part.....Replacement of the (Actual base) standing part of the B POST pillar...."FARMA" making in progress....

Upper part of the pillar was fine ...only this curved part was rusted so we decided to replace only this ....,..The part to be replaced can be seen in the form of red chart paper...

A very good view of what we have been doing and what we intend to do next...As you can see that the pillar is fine...only base was gone so we decided to replace base (Curved) as you can see in the form of red paper....

AAp Daikhtay Jaain Hum Kia Kartay Hain Is Gari Kay Saath....:)....It is going to last "A LIFE TIME " body/chassis wise as well as Mechanically ...
Lets see...what my son does with these three triumphs (spitfires x 2 , and a herald convertible)...talking about myself....at the age of 50 and with the chronic back problems.....how long and how good one can expect to live...:)...
