Recommend Oil for Toyota Vitz

Good luck.

I didn't buy the engine today as i got confused, i was gonna buy liqui moly but i realized the car would be driven with in city for usually short distances, there's no way it can cross more than 3K km in 6 months. Which oil do you recommend for 2012 vitz ?

It will be very odd to use LM oil because its imported and we can run the car around the world in once change engine oil.

Just feed your Car ZIC A+ 5w-20 which is more suitable for it. And you can change it when your car do 5K.

For vitz 5w-30 is recommended or shot i go with 5w20 ?

First choice ZIC A+ 5w-20
2nd choice ZIC OW 0w-30 (non-hybrid)
3rd choice 5w-30

First two given choices are BEST for better fuel economy throughout the year.

I got A+ 5w-20, got the 4 liter one as i thought 3.4 liter will pour in but according to the manual, 3.1 L of oil has to be poured in 1KR engine.
The oil level on dip stick is little bit above the threshold level.

Read my post#55 on this thread, I clearly told you that the manual says 3.1 litre for 1kr-fe engine with attached proof from manual but you did not understand and followed some one else's instructions leading to this over filling of oil.

The correct oil level is between the min. and max. mark of the dipstick while the engine is cold and vehicle parked on a flat surface.
Over filling can lead to leaking engine seals ( not necessary).

Why did you go for 5W20. Should have gone for 5W30.

I didn't pour 3.4 L, the station guy poured little over 3.1 which is alright i guess, No harm. and No reason for getting 5w20 over 5w30.

Please suggest me is it safe to switch back from 10w40 to 5w40 in 1kr Fe engine with millage over 120000km because I saw brown smoke plus little bit water coming out from exuost when I push the paddle also whitesh steam and water drops on idol

IMO, if your vehicle is working fine on 10w-40, then you may continue using it.

Just use 10w-40 by ZIC; fully synthetic and best value to money in its league.

Aslam o alikum,I have vitz 2006 1.0 nearly 70k,first I was using (unfortunately)zic 20 50 then switch to Shell helix HX7 SN 5w 30 but now it's second time used the Shell hilex. In first go I changed it 3.5k and now it's reducing it's nearby 3.5k. There is black deposits(thick black layer)on piston.Cars pic also reduce with addition of decrease in fuel efficiency.

Now help me out which oil should I use one of buddy suggested me to use Toyota oil but which grade is best for me (moderate temperatur) should I use LM engine flusher with .My mechanic also told me that it's blowing "ring".... Should I use LM sealent repair.

I am now using shell 5w 30(synthetic),
Agreed with you that black deposits black deposits were also present before recent oil change but deposits increase drastically...help me out.

shell is not a good oil as per my experience. switch to total 9000 5w-30.

i use toyota taglon 5w-50 API SN fully synthetic in my vitz and it works flawlessly for 5K KM change interval. i recommend switching to toyota orignal engine oil.

2nd best option would be total 9000 API SN 5w-30. if you wanna stick to lower viscosity oil.
