Recommendation for Rawalpindi/Islamabad

I am from Karachi and visiting Rawalpindi/Islamabad as a solo traveler, for a few days for the first time in my life. So what are the must places to see and must-try foods?

Go to Pakistan monument, Daman e Koh, saidpur village, faisal mosque, any of the hiking trails, drive through the D Chowk and constitution Avenue, Golra railway station and museum, rawalpindi Lake etc

How many days you have? And having own transport or public?
Daman e Koh and Monal is a must.
Than Pakistan monument (shakkar paryan) , Faisal masjid, Lake view park, Saidpur village, Centaurus mall and F.9 Park are within city.
Murree and Galliyat are also reachable. If you are having own transport, than you can avail lot of options nearby, at 1, 2 hours drive.
Murree expressway or Taxila, Khanpur or even Abbotabad.
As far as food is concerned, don't expect good taste here. You will be disappointed. In fact, you can find lot of food options at Pindi food street at Rawalpindi cricket stadium. Enjoy your trip. Weather is perfect nowadays for day excursion.

I am visiting alone and don't have my own transport. I use careem/uber or Bykea

And how many days you have?
You can easily visit Pakistan monument (Shakkar pariyan), Lok Virsa museum, Shah Faisal masjid , Lake view park, Saidpur village, Jinnah super market, F.9 Park, Centaurus mall etc.with careem, uber, Bikea because they are all within city. But you can't visit Monal and Daman e Koh with careem, uber because they have to wait long for you there.
You can also enjoy travelling via metro bus. Prefer using careem, uber instead of local taxies. Kyun k taxi driver aap ko pardesi daikh kar choona lagany ki koshish karain gy.
You can easily visit murree via public transport, daewoo ,Faisal movers etc from Faizabad stand. From Murree bus stand you can also take local transport to Nathia gali, Ayubia.
But if you are coming here for the first time and have a couple of days ,then you must see Murree, Nathia gali, Ayubia. Ye nahi daikha to itni door sy aa kar paisay zaya kiye.
