Recommendations needed for best JDM vehicle

I have a budget of around 2.5 to 3M. And Im looking for a JDM vehicle. Need suggestions for the best JDM vehicle in this budget. Because i have heard JDM cars have advanced technology as well as the driving comfort.

2.5 to 3.0 million you'll only get a Toyota Aqua, maybe a locally used Honda Grace and a locally used Corolla Axio.

It's better to look for a 2018 1600cc local assembled Corolla in this budget. Or a later 2019/2020 Gli depending upon your choice.

I would sincerely advise against buying a JDM. Their parts are very very expensive, locally assembled cars will have parts in abundance and will be cheaper too. When buying a JDM, their meters will be reversed (around 80-90% of the time) so beware of this. For eg, a Honda Vezel, I've seen posts here on PW about their transmissions failing and issues in the DCT which cost ALOT (I CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH) which will give you a bill in hand of thousands easily.
No doubt that they are driver friendly and all that glitter, but its better to buy a brand new car if you can, a 2015 1.6 Altis will be good if you can find one.

You will get an Aqua, Hybrid Axio, Prius 2010-2013, or maybe a Honda Grace. They do have the comfort and advanced technology, however, i would suggest you to buy a local PKDM car such as 9th gen. Civic 2016, facelift 1.6 Altis or 2016-2017 Pre-facelift Grande 1.8 CVT-i.

@iqbalu140 sir i have heard there is a process to check if the meter reading is authentic or not. Aur secondly ive heard PKDM vehicles are poorly built, so i'd still prefer better quality even if parts availability is an issue.

@omaruser156370259465 what about honda fit, grace and Toyota aqua 2015 models. Does these cars have any known issues?

Honda Civic 1.8 2018. Ive driven vezel and ive driven my civic i can see the difference too.

3M is a good budget for a local car. I would not suggest JDM in this price

In 3 million, you can get a used Grande or Civic 2016/17.
You can get a new Yaris in 3 million
You can get 2018/19 Altis 1.6 in this budget. Why to go for a JDM?

Fit and Grace have an electronic gear which tends to overheat in our climate sometimes, plus its a 7-speed dual clutch transmission which a limited number of mechanics here understand. I used to like all JDM's before the price increase but to me doesn't make sense in that budget where you can get a pretty loaded sedan which have parts support as well. Matlab, aqua aur fit mujhay 25-30 lac mai samaj nai athay. Parts might be available but prices are what make people run away from them. I myself have seen dealers rip people off by selling them vehicles which are accidented R/RA grade making fake auction sheets. Although if one is experienced, then it may be good but again it doesn't make any sense to me buying these hatch's (Aqua and Fit) for so much money. But at the end, its your choice.

Better import one of your choice and at least of you satisfaction and for sure it'll not be carrying the profits and insane price hikes
